I'm madly in love with my boyfriend of four years. He was my best friend for about eight months b/4 we even dated.
He's in the military and is about to be stationed over 24 hours away from me in El Paso, Texas for FOUR years!
He wants to marry and take me with him, but I'm scared because I'd be leaving my entire life here in Viriginia. I also wouldn't be guareenteed a job right away.
PLUS, I signed a contract to teach in VA until 2010. If I break it, I have to pay back $5,000.
What should I do?

You've known him for five years. If you think he's the right guy to marry, despite the awful effects of a military career on families, maybe he is.
But I suggest you talk to a bunch of military wives before you decide. Alone, without any of their men listening in.
