I really like this guy. He tried to ask me out, but I said I liked him as a friend. (I only said this because I didn't know he was asking me out! I really regret it!) Now I think he hates me. Whenever I look over at him and he's looking at me (which is about 98% of the time, by the way) he turns his head really quickly. We only have one mutual class together, and I'm the only girl he doesn't talk to in that class! Whenever I say hi to him or ask him a question, he answers me really quickly and he never makes eye contact with me. But what really confuses me is that he still shows A LOT of signs that he likes me! And when I asked a friend of his if he hates me or not, his friend said he didn't hate me, but I still think he does!
Please help me! I really like and I want him to be my boyfriend, but I really do think he doesn't like me! My heart hurts and I'm in desperate need of help! Please respond! Thank you.

Ok i dont want to offend you, but this should be obvious. HE STILL HAS FEELINGS FOR YOU but since he thinks you rejected him (!) he's trying to make those feelings go away. You said you regret what you said about just liking him as a friend so TELL HIM SO. he will be sooooo happy! trust me! the longer you let him mope around thinking you dont have feelings for him too, the further hes going to try to pull away from you.

Ask him out. Not to be your boyfriend, but just ask him to go to the movies or something like that. If he truly doesn't like you, he'll turn you down. Or just tell him that you do like him as more than a friend. Don't talk to his friends; go straight to him.

You rejected him. if you want him now then you will have to be the one to ask him. You already said no to him once so there is no way that he is asking you again.

Tell him you made a mistake and really do like him and apologize for your attitude, and he should understand and forgive you and give it a shot, if he doesn't then move one.

talk to him. say we need to talk. tell him the truth about how u did not know he was asking you out. he will pay attention when you say this. i hope the best of luck for both of you.
