When you have something good, that even you know is one of the best things that has ever happened to you, how can you possibly mess that up for something that really isn't worth it in the end?
I know that not all men do this, but why do some have such a hard time realizing and appreciating that they have a good woman on their hands?

If people only did what was "best" for them, no one would drink, smoke, drive too fast, cheat, etc. Unfortunately, we all lose sight of the "long term" benefits when tempted by the "short term" rewards.
Yes, it is very possible for men and women to cheat on a person that they absolutely adore and would not do anything to chance losing. And sadly, they will do it time and again; even after being caught and forgiven.

You need to realize little miss, why certain man can do that to THEMSELVES, becuase thats what its about. Lets just say that inorder for a gentlemen to really cheat on a girl, its because they don't SEE it that way, thats why they cheated. Their reasons are individual, and it could be that they didn't think you love them enough, had sex enough, or cheated them fairly, ALL THE WAY TOO, you seem to perfect for them and they shouldn't be with you anyways, so their doing you a favour by pushing you away. Sad stuff, but this behavior is typical of both males and females, and is a consequence of someone not being emotionally atuned enough to know what they really need from life. Dangerous people that should be avoided.
So what you need to realize is that man well not cheat on a woman he TRULY loves, just a women he THINKS he loves, big different. True love comes from understanding yourself, them and you purpose in life, cheating isn't an option.....

I tend to find that very few PEOPLE are genuine, honest or any of the other adjectives you just used. I’m pretty selective with anyone I associate myself with in any way, for this very reason. Maybe you should do the same for men. And also, actually go more by those adjectives you used, as opposed to your many other less-relevant standards you probably have now. But what do I know? I'm male.

Have you ever heard that statement "The grass is greener on the other side?" well most men and women seem to see life that way.
A man could have everything he has ever wanted and throw it all away because for just a short moment in time the grass seemed greener.
