I have a female friend who has had some major automobile expenses in the past month and she’s not going to be able to pay her rent this month (I think its like $600 a month). A male acquaintance of hers has offered to help her but with a catch: he wants her to have sex with him. He has basically told her that he would pay her $1,000 in cash (he apparently does have the cash, as he showed her) in return for 1 hour. Though she desperately needs the money, she says she’s not going to do it, though I’ve wondered about this, as I’ve seen her talk to him since he made the offer.

This situation led me to a question: if, as a lady, you were hard up for money and were offered that type of cash, would you even consider taking up the offer? I know people generally say that they are worth more than that and that they won’t sell themselves for money but this has really made me wonder. If you were offered that type of cash in this situation, would you even consider it?

No, I would go to the landlord and explain that I had some unexpected problems, and if I could work out the rent in payments over the next couple months. If that wouldn't do it, I would ask someone for a loan, if none, then I guess I would be asking for someones couch until I could get a new place.

no i do'nt belive i ever would do something like that for money. I have pride as a woman and if i did something like that i would feel comfortable. You friend needs to get a better choice of friends. because someone who is a real friend wouldn't offer money for sex in return. I would tell my friend to stay away or take out a loan. it is way safer especially with all the STD's going around.

I would never even consider that. Its wrong for him to put her in that situation. Tell her to take him to court and get his money that way. She could do other things for the money. More jobs, get a loan, Ask good friends or family.

CONSIDER PROSTITUTION? HELL NO!

Even if I were in the most destitue of circumstances, I would not due to the principle of the matter.
It's morally wrong and (morals aside) just plain disgusting!
