My wedding day is a year away. But i am worried that i am going to cry the entire damn day? I am one of those people that cry when there happy, or when they hear a touching song that reminds me of someone.
I think now sometimes of how happy i am going to be, and how excited, and the dancing with my daddy, and just everything, and i get teary... What i am i going to do that day??
I am hoping that i get all the sappy stuff out now and just smile beautifully on my wedding day..
Anyone else worried about this happening?

Well, I think it's good you know yourself. I cried during my ceremony and had no tissue. It totally took me by surprise because I don't cry that easy! Unless you're up there sobbing...which I doubt since you are addressing the issue ahead of time. You'll be okay.

I thought for sure I was going to cry because every time I thought about walking down the aisle, the tears would well up.
Turns out, once the day came, I didn't shed one little tear! I was so excited, so happy, and positively giddy. My pictures are so funny because of it! I literally laughed and giggled and blushed walking down with my dad. Then after our first kiss, my father-in-law says I looked like I had just won the lottery--I grabbed my new hubby by the shoulders and opened my mouth in the BIGGEST smile ever. The picture is too funny because even the priest has this huge smile on his face looking at the two of us.
So, what I'm trying to say is don't worry about crying! If you do, it's beautiful (wear waterproof makeup). Otherwise, just concentrate on how wonderful it is--you're getting MARRIED! Woo-hoo!

I don't know how you can wait a year to get married! My fiance and I can barely wait a few months. We aren't planning a wedding, just a dinner so that means less planning time. I think I will cry that day but what's wrong with that?! I'm so happy! I think I will cry more after we get back home and after the dinner just because I normally tend to hold some things in until we're alone. Just be happy and however you express that is fine. He'll still marry you with tears running all over the place.

I was really worried about that a year before my wedding. But, now that I'm a week before my wedding I feel that I'm going to be so overwhelmed with all of the details that I'll hardly have a moment to stop and be sentimental. However, my sister was the same way and so three hours before the wedding all the girls sat around and started reminiscing and got all teary eyed together. Starting the crying early on and letting out some of those emotions helped her to hold it together when she needed to get through her vows.

I can promise you that the only time you'll think of crying is when you're stopping to take a deep breath....and that will be very rarely during the last few days! You'll be up to your armpits in last-minute prep's, so just take the occasional deep breath, close your eyes and don't worry about crying. Everyone expects at least a FEW tears on your wedding day!

I am very emotional myself. I have to leave the room sometimes when something sad is on TV cuz I don't want to cry.
But on my wedding day, I was all smiles. You can see it in all the pictures. I didn't stop smiling. Not for a second. And it was sincere smiles, not a nervous smile or anything.
And I was certain I would cry or pass out. But i didn't.
I did cry though when my MOH gave her speech because it was sweet, funny and sincere.

yes yes... I'm like that too. I cry at almost EVERY movie. But I don't know, for some reason I think that I'll be really happy on my wedding day. But I know I'm gonna let the river flow on my vows. I'm such an emotional person, I really know what you mean.
I will make sure to use all water proof makeup though lol!

I amsure you will cry-but it is one of the happiest days of your life-you will be surprised once you get thru all the points you mentioned that you WILL cry at-you will be ready to party at your reception and just know you will have very raw real wedding pictures-make sure you choose a photographer that will capture it well-don't worry you will do just fine-good luck to you both.

It is natural to express your feelings. If you cry when you are happy then there is nothing wrong with that. Just remember to wear water proof mascara.
