http://godisimaginary.com/video2.htm is a video that anyone who professes the infallibility of their sacred text would benefit from watching. It helps answer the question...

Go in peace. Think.

I need go no further then the first claim on the ten commandments.
Jesus himself was accused of breaking this commandment.
This commandment was from the old testament and old covenant between God and Man. Jesus brought about a new covenant between God and Man.
I am so tired of the distortions of the Bible. If only there were an atheist sacred text that was likewise distorted you would understand why I feel so annoyed.
Edit:
New Testament Romans 10:4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes.

The problem with Christian doctrine is that they deny the existence of the verses listed in the link, or at least they deny the reality of what these verses teach us about their God.

Many of them state that 'that was the old testament' and 'things like that were culturally OK back then'. What they are ignoring by stating this, is that God is meant to be never changing. He is meant to be all knowing, therefore should have had the forsight to understand that killing captive boys and mothers was morally wrong and repulsive. However, the bible shows that genocide and murder are not repulsive to God, and that Christians worship a God who is quite OK with murder. Which explains the placid acceptance of an eternal hell doctrine.

I don't believe any sacred text is infallible, but I'll watch it anyways.

I wonder how many Christians actually watched that all the way through? I can bet very few.

Absolutely No one (especially a Monotheist) will ever benefit from the eternally damned advice of an Atheist.
Taking advice from anyone who rejects my Creator and his revelations would be like setting fire to my ears.

It's funny how a lot of unbelievers would believe that Dr. Seuss wrote "the cat in the hat" or "green eggs and ham"
But yet they refuse to believe in The Holy Revelations that was sent to mankind from their own Creator!

How can this be?
Only God encompasses all things. Allah hu akbar.

Because god said so. It's clearly written in the bible. Kill all nonbelievers.

Really loving god, huh?
