You're probably dealing with a "faith movement" church. Zoe comes from John 10:10 (I came to give life and life more abundantly). It is a word to express an abundance of life. I hear that a lot from faith movement churches, not as much from the others.

I used to have a cat named Zoe. She lives with my sister now, because both son and hubby are allergic to cats. :)

Seriously, I've been a Christian for 32 years and I've never heard either of the next two answerer's definitions. I've never run across it. Sorry, I wasn't meaning to be as flippant as that sounded.
