So,this summer I met this guy... We were on a party and I thought he was cute... He came onto me an asked me my name...We talked but I wasn't that interested in him at the time... He talked to me a couple of times that evening and said I was hot.... But,he didn't know I was 4 years younger(cause every1 thinks I'm older)...And next month I went for a drink with my cousin and her fiancee(and that guy is his mate) and he was there...We didnt talk, but I noticed him looking at me,and so did my cousin...He later told my cousins fiancee that I'm beautiful....And 2 months ago he said that I'm way beautiful and hot,but just too young.... And I hate that!!! He would be with me if I was 2 years older but now he doesn't want to.... I had a boyfriend after that and everything was ok until I read something about past love(or something). And I still think of him a lot and I really care about him.I always ask what is he doing and stuff...And I haven't seen him since that drink we had... Help me please!

Here's the catch-he thought i was probably 17/18,but I'm only 17......
And he's really shy and likes to take things slow....He dumped his girlfriend becaues she wanted to have sex,he said it was too soon for him,he's that type of guy...So,I don't think it's about sex to him...............

Four years younger... Well it really depends how old both of you are. Are you both over the age of eighteen? Maybe he is just one of those people that never wants to age much faster then his partner. It all depends.

My advice for you would be just to move on. You will find someone else. You never know, maybe he will come around. Just dont be a stick in the mud. Take action and do what YOU think is right.

No i don't think age really matters .It sounds as though you are out of high school so then i do'nt see any problems at all. Especially since there is only a 4 year age difference. That is nothing. I know people in high school that have dated guys 7 years older. But everything is different when you gradutate. Go ahead girl. This guys sounds great

good luck

When you are with someone, there should be an age difference. It should not be over ten years, but 4 would be about perfect. He should at least have a conversation with you to decide if you are to young or not. Age is only a number, and has nothing to do with compatibility. Have your cousin and her fiance line him up on a blind date.

Age should not matter unless you are under the age of 18. Men get real nervous about girls under 18 and they tend to stear clear of them until they are old enough not to be jail bait. If you are older than 18 then there should not be any concern about age. Its just a number as my boyfriend put it and he is 10 years younger than me

since your old enough to drink u must be older than 21 so why would age matter if you cared about some that much than age shouldnt matter no matter how old (unless ur a child molester than stay away frm little kids)

Age does not matter. It seems like you really like this guy. If it was meant to be for you guys to be together... it will find it's way and you guys will meet. It will come around when you least expect it.

If both of you are of age it should not matter. But it sounds like he is not interested anymore so just let him be.

It just depends on how old you both are now?
