Your chronology of events is a bit weird. Cain was sent to Nod, east of Eden. Nod is the root of the verb meaning 'wander' in Hebrew. So he was condemned to 'wander'. Why is there an Egypt? Should there not be? Should the people there not be civilized? Why are there cannibals? Because people are left to themselves and do what is right in their own eyes. Some men worship cows...others worship football teams. Im trying to figure out what your point is.

If you look in Genesis 10 and 11 it explains how the people spread over the earth and followed the first given commandment "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth." So they spread out and did that.

Recorded history only arouse about four to six thousand years ago so people establishing settlements & civilizations could have happend in that time.

Don't like that origin story there are plenty more out there. Making your own up is fun too. Why not right? Everyone back in the day did it. They believed it because the time period was far more hopeless and "science" wasn't really a word back then. I'm writing the Tetris Bible. Here's an excerpt. "And lo, the blocks did decend from the sky and lined up in perfect form only to have vanish the chosen to the higher plane tallied and written by what they call, 'scoreboard.' May those records live forever with the three letters of our trinity, A.A.A."

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. He created Adam and Eve, yes, no where in the Bible does it say that He did not create others. Just says that they were the first. You need a serious talk with a local pastor or priest. My advise would be to go to the Priest first, you may need an exorsism.

Hey Achilles,
It sure looks like you should go back to school, or stay there awhile longer, lad. While you are at it, take a course in manners. OK?
With your mindset the question is worthless.

People lived to be hundreds of years old then, and there was no birth control. Adam lived to be 900. I'm sure he had plenty of offspring to branch out.
