Exactly. It shouldn't take much effort him to prove his existence to each of us.

He already has given ample proof of his existence. Yes he is all powerful and yes there is no possibility of failure. But he has created man with with the right to choose to believe. Your resistance is your choice exercised and therefore your path chosen.

As a human you have been given intellect and it is your duty to search and verify his revelations against logic and reason
.
If He came down to earth in a physical form and performed miracles for you then that would be too easy and there would be no test, therefore no point in creation in the first place.

I am approached with the most opposite opinions and advice, and by men who are equally certain that they represent the divine will. I am sure that either the one or the other is mistaken in the belief, and perhaps in some respects, both. I hope it will not be irreverent of me to say that if it is probable that God would reveal his will to others on a point so connected with my duty, it might be supposed he would reveal it directly to me.

He doesn't need me at all. Your right, but he gives me the privilege to share his love and existence. But even if you stood right in front of you, you would still not believe in him most likely. The pharisees saw Jesus and all the miraculous things he did. But they were prideful and still did not believe he was God. Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophecies, and the Pharisees still did not want to believe he was God. In the future, i don't know when, there will happen many things that the bible prophesied. Even when those prophecies will be fulfilled almost everyone will still not believe in God, and follow the Antichrist. So you see, even when God shows himself people do not believe him. And God isn't going to force people to believe in him. He wants us to come to him willingly. He wants us to put our faith in him that he exists. It is easier to believe in something seen than something not seen. He wants to make sure our love and faith in him is genuine. That's why he let's himself be known through his "children"/ Christians. I pray that you will believe in him, but it's your choice, and God gave it to you. He didn't make robots...he made you!

I have always said that the ONLY person who can prove God exists is God.

He does not need ME to prove anything to YOU. Your own your own journey buddy. He has left it up to you that's why there no failure for him only for you. Good luck with that.

Witnessing is for my salvation not yours.

Matthew 10:33 - But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Jesus is Lord.

Makes you wonder why, God requires sinful humans to get his message right. Couldn't he foresee the mistakes and people that would easily be misled by imperfect interpretation?

I agree! Dont worry I will never try to convince you of anything. I try 2 live my life that shows gratitude to MY Creator. No other reason than that. If somebody ASKS me what, why, who or how I get my strength, joy ,serenity I am more than happy to share with them. But only if they ask. I dont feel it's God's will 4 ME to convert anybody!
