I just got back from a job interview. After the interview process they sent me for a drug test. On the paper work it stated the reason for the drug test was "post job offer"
When this was done the interviewer stated that the job was contingent with the drug test and the criminal background check results. Does this mean that the job is mine if these tests come back normal?

As long as you pass both the drug test and background screen then the job should be yours. I would go back to the person you interviewed for and verify this but there should be no problems.

Congratulations! They don't send you on a drug test unless they want you, it cost too much money to test everyone they see, so yeah Id say you got it!! ;-)

i'd say as long as you pass everything then u have the job.If they werent interested by your application and resume they wouldnt have taken it to the next level
