can I mix ground turkey and ground pork to make meatballs if I cook them right away,to the right temperature

Yes - you can definitely do that and it's much healthier than beef!

Sounds delicious. The traditional recipe calls for veal, pork & beef, so pork & turkey should work well.

I once made a meatloaf with ground beef, turkey, and pork. It was very good.

of course,....
but why all the paranoia "right away and temp"??
bacteria takes days to relize where they are.
then you cook it above 165F
