Technically, you don't NEED anything for a wedding except an officiant, bride, groom, 2 wittnesses, and marriage license. Everything else depends on your taste, preferences, and budget.

I'm not sure I understand what information you are looking for.

If you are wanting to get married in the Catholic church, at least one of you has to be a confirmed Catholic. Other requirements vary depending on the parish. If you or your family are members of a church you should call them and fin out what the requirements are.

The number of bridesmaids and groomsmen is completely up to you. I was in a small wedding recently and it was just me and the maid of honor. My wedding I had 3 bridesmaids and 1 maid of honor. It just depends on how many close friends and family that you would like to include.

What info are you looking for on the reception?? There is a lot to consider when planning a reception. Do you want a dinner? Do you want a buffet or sit down meal? Photgrpaher, DJ, Hall, florist, etc.

There are plenty of sites out there that can help you plan. Try www.theknot.com

good luck!

just remember, KISS... keep it simple sweetie!!
A lot of factors to consider... your budget, the size of your families, how formal do you want it. There are ways to have a special wedding without spending a fortune. As for bridesmaids, I always thought 3 or 4 is nice
