I think parents should encourage chaperoned group activities with adolescents around age 12, then at 14 allow casual double dates to movies or family gatherings to begin, and then at 16, if the children have been responsible in those activities, i.e. following curfews, etc. then they can begin dating. But always, always know where your child is. Get to know the parents of their friends and make sure everyone knows what is going on.

There is no best age for teens to start dating. Every person will be ready for a dating relationship at a different time.
Me personally, i think if your looking for seasonal companionship, then between the age of 16-18....
if your looking for long-term companionship, then after college.

I think 16 would be find for group dating. Honestly though I dont think people should get into serious relationships until after highschool.

ive ben going on dates since i was 12. but i think 14 is a good time to start

It all depends on maturity actually. I've been raised to believe that one shouldn't start dating unless one is ready for marriage. In my opinion no younger than 20 or maybe mid-20's. Hope that helps. :-)

25-30, after you have a good job, good education, seen some of the world, saved some money for future disappointments, good established home, good car, good clothes. Then is the time to fill your world with a good man.

well if you're in a serious relationship like 15 or 16
even though i have been in my relationship since i was 13 and i'm almost 15 now.
but i still think that i might have been a little young.
and still might be.
