I get answers that indicate that god has been in wars so it is Ok. That sure tells me a lot about your religion and your god. The problem for the pope is he does not realise that someday people will figure Jesus out.

In 1967 there was a Six Day War that Israel won. Every Arab knew they would abolish Israel, because it was like a 5 to 1 war, but little Israel won. We have a God of the Angel Armies that cannot be defeated. The Arabs will try again and lose again.

It was all Moses could do to bring the Israelites out of Egypt and now they are returning from all over the world from at least 100 places. God is bringing His people home to the Holy Land.

The pope is a man. That is all he is....so don't bring him into the discussion. And yes, if one were to read the scriptures, God approves of war.

Jesus said that if HIS Kingdom was of the Earth, THEN would HIS Disiciples FIGHT to Guard HIM.

Jesus gave Each One of Us a FreeWill.
If you don't want to Fight in a War---then Don't.
It's O.K..

i dont know about christians, but someone who wants to live like Jesus lived, ABSOLUTELY must deny war at all costs. no ifs ands or buts about it. jesus would rather have himself killed than harm one hair on anyones head.

Not true.....

War is a necessary evil sometimes......and we have the absolute right to defend ourselves.

And that's just what we've been doing in Iraq for the last 5 years
