As far as we know the only crime that they have committed is to leave their children alone. They were not on their own with this, other members of the group did the same thing. It looks like they have done this a few nights on the trot. Thus giving the kidnapper time to plan their move. These kids were picked out because they were good looking and blonde. I believe that Maddie was taken to order, they have been watched for days and the McCanns sadly left it wide open.
This is not the first case to happen in Portugal, I believe that the police did not do their duty and evidence has been lost.
If we all put as much energy into thinking good thoughts instead of bad maybe Maddie would be found.

We cannot assume anything, can deal with fact, the children were left alone. Both parents are doctors with careers.....they are ambitious......the behaviour since has caused many questions and suppositions to be made........but in the end I suspect the truth will never out. Sad but true.

This is not fair.

It is pointless speculation and people are judging them without being in possession of all the details.

I doubt that any of you would like to be tried in public in this way without the right to respond.

The tabloids are bad, but this is worse.

Here's my theory (it's based on things people have told me which may not be entirely true)
The Mcanns used sleeping pills on their children so they would sleep soundly and not wander off (they would have access to sleeping pills as they are both doctors) They accidently overdosed Madeline which killed her. Knowing they would be prosecuted, they tried to frame an abduction (sucessfully.)
They went to a church where they knew the priest well, they told him what they had done and he said they could hide her body in the church cellar in a chest. If anyone asked, they could say the priest was sypathetic and gave them the room (which was lockable) for private prayer.
I know it sounds dramatic but it is interesting.

People are still innocent until proven guilty by the law even in this security mad world of ours,it is amazing the amount of people who secretly want the McCanns to be guilty so they can say`I told you so`.

No, they were a little careless to leave the children alone , but they had nothing to do with it.
