No side is innocent in a war. The innocents in a war are the people who do not fight. They're the ones caught in the middle, having their families and their homes torn asunder by the violence. The mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters who every day hope for it to end. Children who have no idea why everything is like the way it is. It really has nothing to do with religion.

War is Hell.
In a War, from what I have Learned, on both sides, there are Usually Ones that Commit Crimes.
As far as the Total War?
The only one I woulda' wanted to Fight in was WW2 (World War Two).
It was Good against Evil---and it Took Alot of Good Lives to Stop Them.

Define innocent. Usually a simple soldier is acting out of love or loyalty, and sometimes desperation, regardless of belief. Its the powerful on all sides who are guilty when they try to rule us with fear...its all in the intention...
