The god of the Old Testament does not seem compatable in any way to God in the New Testament. I know Christian theologians have tried to explain this blatant contradiction, but it has never been done to my satisfaction.
Based on the actions of the god in the Old Testament, I don't know if I'd say he was anti-Christ, but he certainly comes across as a psychotic and is perhaps nothing more than a reflection of man's own evil tendencies. And my apologies in advance to everyone who will be offended by that remark, but I'm trying to give an honest opinion.

No, there is a 'thread' that runs through the Old Testament that predicts the coming of Christ. God continuously tells the Kings, Judges, Prophets, etc. that the Tree of Jesse will be the Ruler of Israel and the world.

The Times are the antichrist. The behavior of the people.
Anyone who doesn't believe in Jesus.
It is written that the antichrist was in Jesus' time, as well.
It is my understanding that in the end times, there will be a man called the antichrist.
