Taking a stroll down memory lane.... I never used a fake ID and usually found a way in the club at some point.
Easiest was if the place used wrist bands... then I would wait outside for someone to leave and ask for theirs. I had a small wrist and slipped it on. Same goes for stamps. If they use something simple or hard to read, reproduce it with a magic marker or something. When you walk in, act like you're walking "back in," holding out your hand so they see the band/stamp. If they ask for ID, tell them you just put it in the car... for girls can be like "put my purse in car because I wanted to dance." If they insist on seeing it, then oh well.
If no wrist bands I would sneak in one way or another... If you are with friends they can unlock a door or window. Or just check around. I've scaled buildings, gone through the kitchen, etc.
Bringing your own beer works well if you're gonna sneak in... just make sure they sell what you're bringing in. Stash it someplace dark.
If you are just gonna go for it with the doorman and an underage ID you want to have pretty girls with you. The bar/club wants as many girls as it can get. You want to try to make the doorman think that all the girls are with you and if you don't get in, the whole party's going elsewhere. They might turn a blind eye. If you don't have your own, talk up girls on their way to the door and walk in when they do.
Be one of the last in the group if you're getting carded. If the first 5 are all 21+, might not look as closely. If there is a cover, you can yell out from the back that you got it for everybody. By the time you get there have the money ready and you might not get carded. If they do card you, you can say that you're not paying. Might cause so much trouble that they just let you in and tell you not to drink...
Once inside, go order a tonic or coke. Then have a friend order a vodka/tonic or rum and coke. Pour a bit of the liquor drink in the other virgin. Switch drinks. After a minute have friend return your water or coke to another bartender (pick a time when the bartender you ordered from is busy) and say its weak... and can you get another.
At the store... Hey Mister is ok, but I've been ripped off before.
I'm a good boy nowadays.

Not the brightest idea. One of my friends was underage a few months ago. So, what we would do is I would order and see if they carded me ( I don't look 21) and if they didn't card me i would ask her what she wanted and then she would order. Another friend had her cousin's id and we would have to call her "jackie" while we stood in line at a bar to get carded. It's not as easy as it used to be.

The best way to not get carded....do not go somewhere that you aren't old enough to be or try to buy things you aren't old enough to have. Honestly, this works every time.

Just buy beer not liquor, act like you know what your doing and not nervous. You cant get in any trouble for trying if they do catch you. Dress like you just got off work and dont wear anything that advertises school or something like that.

You will be carded no matter what and if you attempt to buy alcohol etc and your not of age, they will call the police and you will be arrested.That's how it is here in Florida

Well you go with 10 or so friends ( over 21) and be obvious that yall are all friends while yall are in line. If the bouncer is looking at the I.D.'s and he will notice that your all together and hopefully just glance at them or just shuffle you all in. Or just buy a fake I.D.

just be patient, and in the meantime lobby for getting the drinking age to be the same as the age for being drafted into the military
don't mess up things for the rest of us who were patient and can now drink legally

I used a fake once when I was underage... I look really young though (people think I am in my teens even though I am 25) so I never really tried when I was younger because I looked even younger then :o)
