Hi! Although I feel 60 pounds for a male is very unlikely my experience has been that a male Golden is usually more in the range of 75 to 85 pounds, give or take a few pounds.

Most females I've had here with me have been in the 65 to 75 pound range.
Now my Golden's are all of the larger bone type that may be the reason I know they should be heavier but I've never seen a male Golden under 70 pounds, no matter what bone structure they were.

Hope this helps.

ADD: No problem Tony I google my experience. :)

I wish!! I am a groomer, and most of the male goldens I see are WELL over 100 lbs :(
I groomed one poor guy who had to be 150 easy. Could hardly move :(
