What are you so worried about? If it doesn't work out, so what? It is not like she will not pull out a gun and shoot you or anything if you bore her.

Don't take the whole date thing so seriously. if you were going out with one of your a buddies, then you would just relax and have fun. So pretend that she is one of you guy friends, and have some fun.

Try meditating.

Sit by yourself, close your eyes and repeat the word "relax" (or any other word that helps you relax) over and over. After 5 minutes your mind will be extremely relaxed. Continue until you feel calm enough to stop.

Ha first think that came to my head is from the movie something about mary, lol. Seriously though, just get yourself comfortable, clothes, sleep, if your going out for food make sure your not really hungry(I know a lot of people that are crabbier when their hungry, including myself, ha). Stuff like that I find make situations like that easier.

put it on a sports station
like baseball step out side
the house and
sit back on a relaxed
seat listening to it
while staring at
the sky. or go get
a massage a full body
massage that helps a lot.

Honestly just take some deep breathes and think positive. The more you worry the worse you will be. Listen to some music, or take a long shower or something? good luck!

Make sure your day is full, so you are not so focused on the date later. I like to even push myself for time to be ready that way I don't have time to get too nervous.

Do some breathing exercises. Another thought is to drink so calming tea.

i would say have one glass of wine... but for me, one glass of wine easily turns into four, and although it helps in making lasting first impressions... those impressions aren't necessarily always good.
just figure they're nervous too. you'll do great. (wear lots of deodorant)

eat a piece of bread a butter seems dumb but it normally works at least for a few minutes
