Human Rights-- possible careers??

Currently I am studying psychology my freshman year in college to become a school psychologist, but I've come to wonder if that's really what I wanted to do. I am an avid advocate for human rights (mainly equal rights and gay rights) and I was wondering what are my career choices for wanting to be involved in human rights??? THANKS!
