Permanently: Seek help.
Temporarily: Time (decides a blood transfusion) is the only thing that can help. Drink water to fight the dehydration and take an Advil or two. Once alcohol is in your bloodstream you just have to wait till your liver can process is out.

Yeah Luke N has a good point. Is your question about alcohol or is it about drugs? Either way if you a not wanting to be under the influence any longer I would start by distancing your self from any type of surroundings that would make you falter.

eat. food absorbs the booze somewhat. besides that, the body metabolizes alcohol at the rate of .015% per hour, slower if you're female. as for drugs, stay off the yola and the h-train.

A cold shower helps, as does a raw egg or two in tomato juice. What is really needed is rest and quiet to enable your body to readjust.

eat/puke/sleep.... sleep is the best... but if you're drunk then you should puke then sleep. :)
