This what Muslims believe about life after death.

A person is asked three questions, "Who did you worship?"
"Who was your Prophet?" "What was your religion?" The questioners will be two angels who called munkar an nukir, they will both know your answers before you have given them.

If you are a Muslim, who worshipped God/Allah and Muhammad was your Prophet then you are okay. Anyone else? well that depends on their ability to understand the message and did it reach them?

After this they are either punished in the grave or shown a window to heaven until Judgement day.

That's when the man will brought onto one plain and be judged for what it did here, not the slightest wrong action or good action will be left.

After this the scales will be weighted, the traverse - the bridge over hell will be crossed and finally heaven or hell.

The link below is to a book called the Lives of man, this explains the Muslim version of all the periods of a man journey.

Your blood will settle into the lowest part of your body. This is known as hypostasis and it leave purpleish marks on the skin. After a chemical action in the muscles you will get rigor mortis. After two or three days greenish marks will appear on your abdomen and around your mouth. After 5-6 day decomposition will really begin to set in. Your skin will start to slip off anda marbleing effect appears all over the body. At about ten days your body will start to swell due to gases produced by bacteria... shall I continue or do you get the picture.

It depends on your relationship with God.
Many Christians believe that you will either go directly to Heaven or Hell as soon as you die, but that's not scriptural. The Bible tells us in several places that death is a "sleep"; when you die, you enter a kind of dreamless "sleep" where you have no consciousness. If you have been saved, the next thing you will be aware of is Christ resurrecting you to life, bodily. Your grave will be opened and you will stand up in your new body, then you will be physically "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air.
If you are not saved, you will "sleep" in the grave for another 1,000 years after Christ's return, then you will be resurrected into your old body you had before you died. All the lost will then have to admit that God is Lord, and they will bow down before Him. After this, Satan will convince the Lost to attack the Holy City; but then fire will rain down from Heaven and consume the Lost, who will never exist again.

You will close your eyes on earth and open them in spirit. You will wake up and realize you are still very much alive in mind and have a body to manifest the thoughts. You will be in a place to decide your fate as in go into the light or remain in the fog. When you enter the light it will contain your own loved ones at the end and they will meet/greet you and help you acclimatize to the spirit condition. You will have a home and many people to help you fulfil your own personal promise of dreams and goals.

If you are a born again Christian you go to Heaven, if not its a lake of fire with the old devil himself. Personally I would choose Paradise over the lake of fire, but you have freewill, and you have to make the decision. Just remember that Jesus came and died on a cross at Calvery so that you might live. What an awesome God we have, Jesus gave his life so that we might live, Praise the Lord

You will simply cease to exist, rather like before you were born.

There is no god, no jesus, no heaven, no hell. Those are just made-up things to get you to do what someone else wants you to do.

That really just depends on your choices. Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal saviour? If yes, you will be in heaven. If not, then I think you know. But I urge you to accept this wonderful free gift of salvation from Jesus.
