What happens if you don't pick your nose?

As a habitual picker, it has always made me wonder what would happen if you never pick or clear out your nose. Does it block up or clean itself or ...?

as a former member of NOA otherwise known as Nosepickers of America, I can tell you I too was a habitual picker. One former member claimed to have had his fingers stuck inside,only to be embarrassed walking into the ER to get them out. Another claims to have the world record on the longest booger.... claims it was almost a foot long.. ( we dont believe him) we could only get 6 or 7 inch ones out... I do know that since attending the NOA meetings.. Im now down to just blowing snotckrockets.... if you dont pick your nose (trust me i know) they actually come out anyway, the build up triggers a sneeze and then u blow your nose and out they come.Or it gets so clogged u blow it anyway just so you can breathe. And if you're a habitual picker trust me you pick your nose in your sleep so no worry about build up ^_^

Every one picks, the proper way is to use a tissue to cover up the act. If at a formal event or at the table, excuse yourself to another room before picking.
