It's really quite simple. If we want peace in the Israel section, we can treat it like the other sections. This means that anyone can ask anything, but they have to be pertinent to Israel and only Israel. Further, the only ones who should be 'entitled' to answer said questions are those who have an intimate knowledge of Israel - those who live here, have studied about Israel extensively, or have traveled here. What this means is that questions pertaining to Judaism or Jewish/Islam strife etc. would not be asked except in the context of Israel, and people who only know about Israel through any propagandastic sources (either pro-Israeli or Palestinian) would not answer. Many would argue that as this is the Israel TRAVEL section after all, that is the way it should be.
I do not mean to criticize the nature of this board, as things are what they are. I'm not even saying that making it a travel board is better than this hodgepodge of an Israel board. What I am saying is that there are two options: stick to the guidelines above or don't expect "peace". If we want to discuss non-travel issues, than peaceful Jewish-Muslim-We-Can-All-Be-Friends is just as relevant to the warlike propogandistic political battles raged here. I'd even say that technically the political battles are more relevant because at least they deal specifically with Israel.
I guess what I'm really trying to say is that this board is simply unique, as unique as Israel. This board has become the Israel travel board, the Judaism board, the Israeli political board and the Jewish-Muslim interfaith interaction board. To remove one is to remove them all (except for travel), and thus the "war" is as integral to the uniqueness of this board as anything else.

Give them what they want. First of all, Isreal occupied that area and since then there has been no rest and no rest will ever be whether it will be in a form of fighting or tension. Also in Iraq you have three types of people who are being forced to live together. They don't like this and it is evitable by their actions in suicide bombs and innocent lives taken. In top of that you have corruption and hid outs for the war and drug lords. I don't see a bright future in the coming for that region, but then again the weapon's manufacturers will with out of they job if no gun is fired. War has always been business and politics.

Israel took the Palestinians land like we did to the Indians in America. Israel should give the Palestinians Israeli citizenship like we did with the Indians in America. Simple isn't it?

Perhaps, focus more on similarities rather than differences between Judaism and Islam.

Here's what I would do:
I would make every Jewish person learn about Islam, and I would get them to live in Gaza or the West Bank for a few weeks.
I would make every Muslim person and every Arab person learn the history of Israel from an objective, historically accurate viewpoint and I would get them to live in Sderot for a few weeks (a town being bombarded with rockets).
edit Mimi
Thanks for twisting my words. I did not mean harm to anyone, I just meant that if we all experienced each other's lives, there would be more understanding. Certainly, it's the only way that Muslims will ever understand about how we feel towards Israel.
