Is it possible to put a mobile phone in a scanner to scan a photo that's stored in the phone? Or will this damage the phone or the scanner. I don't have a digital camera.

Does your phone have internet access? If so, you should be able to email them to yourself.

I don't think that's the right function of a scanner. A scanner takes a hard copy of a paper, photo etc and makes it into a digital image. The photo in your phone is already a digital image so you don't need to scan it. see if your cell company has a website you can send the photo to from your phone- like vzwpix.com. from there you can save it to your computer.

Scanners illuminate the object they are scanning with a bright light. You can barely see a cell phone screen in shadow on a sunny day. I don't think it would work.

I don't know if it will hurt your phone, You may want to call your carrier and ask them. You can always send the pic to your email, or if u have the adapter, just plug it in and transfer the pics. Best of luck. I stared your question. I've never seen it listed before. GOOD LUCK :) and Happy Halloween :)

It probably wouldn't hurt anything but you're not going to get any good results.
