Love your name and avatar! Very cute!

Hey, I'm not even a Christian and I know the answer to that one: it's the same as Pascal's wager. No god worth worshiping would fall for "fake worship" or contingent worship, etc. You either believe or you don't, but if he is there at all, he's not going to be fooled that easily.

"When in doubt, diversify."

"Don't put all of your eggs in one basket."

-Stock Market advice

Religion is like the stock market. You put in time and your prayers in order to get access to god and an afterlife. Some religions are more "expensive" than others. Polytheism is a greater assurance than monotheism because you're more "likely" to have picked the correct religion if you're praying to a thousand gods than one.

There's only one problem: There's no evidence that any of it will pay off. The stock market analogy is a dud, because most religions are mutually exclusive and non provide evidence that your contributions will actually influence gods or an afterlife, as there is no suggestion that either concept is a reality. Game over.

There are no other gods. There is only ONE true First Source and Center, only ONE Heavenly Father, only ONE First Uncaused Cause, only ONE God. Anything that people have conceived about God that is false constitutes a falsehood; but the Heavenly Father can be known, even by you, right now today. Have you ever entertained the idea that which you reject about God is turning you off because in your spirit you know that God can not be those things? But then somehow deep inside you seek the truth about God? That there is a little voice in the back of your heart telling you when you hear the truth about God and when something's amiss?

So, no, worship another God in actuality is no possible for there is no other God. What there are in reality are misinterpretations about God... kinda like in a crude way misinterpretations about your parents --- all children eventually discover things about their parents that they once thought true were not actually true.

One God.

Everybody thinks they worship the one and only true god. It's a matter of opinion. Why do we even care who worships what? And what if there really isnt a god? There's never been one shred of proof to his / her existance. Just what you were told as a kid, and grew up believing. Why is it wrong for people to choose not to believe? We are certainly not afraid of going to heel, because if heaven doesn't exist, then hell can't either. Religion is a crutch for weak minded people.

When you become a Christian and believe in Jesus you know he is real. Believe or not he does talk to his children and answers their prayers. Look at it like this.....if we Christians are right....what do we lose??? But if we are right what will we gain?? Eternal life.....and non believers will have eternal damnation in the lake of fire? Better to believe than not. Besides check out God on the internet and you will find that there is more proof that he is Real than Not. God bless you all and I pray that God will open your eyes and hears.

Nope - it doesn't make sense at all. Other 'gods' that you speak of are created by man. Some are statues (which can't do didley-doo -speak, hear, smell, walk or talk) and other 'gods' can be material things such as money and possesions. People also make other people 'gods' such as movie and rock stars, but even though they are real, they are not 'gods' because they do not possess the spiritual powers and abilities that the real God in heaven does. They are human and therefore, are sinful. God is all-knowing and is everywhere at one time. How many humans do YOU know that can be in every place at the same time?? God is also perfect and sinless, so He cannot make mistakes - man does! :D God has also given us His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for the sins of His people (born again Christains) so that we may have salvation through Him, thus, having the promise of everlasting life. As God's first commandment says, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me". Hope this clears things up for you. ;D May God bless you.

Certainly all those Egyptian gods would beat God in a fight.

So it makes SO MUCH MORE sense to follow them.

But wait, what about the gods at Mount Olympus?

And then again, Satan has a legion of Demons.

I think I'd rather follow Satan and hope to hell he knows how to fight a big imaginary God.
