Obviously someone who is not god said the first one, If someone who is not god said the second one, then they're equal.
But then they'd both be human, and fighting is kind of human nature, so then, it wouldn't be the religion that's warlike, but the people that follow it, which is usually the case.

Both faiths are warlike. But the Christian battle is spiritual wickednesses. In the Old Testament there are battles for Israel to inherrit their God given land. In Christianity, we inherrit Gods Kingdom, a spiritual Kingdom. And we pray against spiritual wickedness who want to destroy mankind.

The Christian warrior outfit is written in Ephesians6.

The Christian battles spiritually. Not with a physical sword that kills other people. But the spiritual battle is to cast down all imaginations that exalt itself against God. That is mental thinking. So? We replace the negative thought with a true Scripture & speak Gods Word. This is the Sword, the Spoken Word. If the negative thought is what the devil says, like, "Go kill your neighbor because he is an unbeliever.". Then we take & speak the Word, "God so loved the World...".

So the Islam jihad is to try to not sin & also to kill unbelievers physically because they threaten the Islamic faith. Also to bow to Mecca 5 times a day.

And the Christian jihad is to overcome sin by speaking the Word of Truth & also to pray for unbelievers & also to pray for one another, etc... And to bind the enemy & loose the victims from bondage. Lift our hands up & praise God & God does our battles for us. So? Christian warfare is letting go & letting God. Also, to pray for our enemies that they come to Gods saving truth.

You chose one verse from bible and one from Quran, that too of your choice and that too out of context. Is this the right way to judge two religions. Do you as a christian accept Laws of OT?

I am a muslim and I proudly accept taht Islam does not allow us to be slaves of christians so easily. Islam is the relgion of God and it orders us to fight against those who establish system of opprssion on the planet. Irrespective of your propaganda you will continue to recieve coffins of your children in US.

Neither religion is more warlike.

There are followers of both however that twist their beliefs in a loving God into a reason to do violence. This is a problem with the human- not the God.

In Christianity, forgiveness and love is commanded for ALL people not just your fellow believers.

How many Christians can you name who fly passenger jets into office buildings? Or blow planes out of the sky to watch the death on TV. Or heck for that matter, how many Christan's do you know that send their kids into markets to blow themselves up?

About killings in Islam...................




"Fight in the cause of God those WHO FIGHT YOU, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors. (The Noble Quran, 2:190)"

"But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things). (The Noble Quran, 8:61)"

"And if anyone of the idolaters seeketh thy protection (O Muhammad), then protect him so that he may hear the word of God, and afterward convey him to his place of safety. "(The Qur’an 9:6)

These instructions exactly synchronize with the International law. And every nation and every person or set of people has the right to self defence and to defend his/their property.-----as per law of the land.
