I am sorry many people feel this way having no understanding and feel totally disgusted by this attitude. I don't see one of these people making a personal attack on there own faith when a Timothy Mc Veigh a US Christian blew up a building in Oklahoma killing 168 people and seriously injuring 500 people. Also I can write a list of US Christian serial killers who murdered many innocent people because God told them to do it. Just because a few culled terrorist claimed they were a Muslim sect who don't follow the true Islam/Muslim religion or Qua 'ran has created this hate by US citizens. I lost many of my school friends in Bali by culled terrorist who claimed they were a Muslim sect. Don't ever feel bad of who you are as a person or of your faith. I don't believe in any religion but I totally believe in human rights and freedoms of all people.

Your question has a lot of false premises. First of all, if MOST whies hated Islam/Muslim there wouldn't be any left in America. They'd have legislated or vigilanteed them all out of the USA. People who are ignorant of the Islamic/Muslim faction are ignorant because they don't care, and their race isn't a factor. I'm sure blacks, hispanics and martians can be included in not caring about Islamic/Muslim and lots of other faiths. Try asking yourself why you are so biased against the Caucasian race. You can make progress with your own bigotry but you can't with anyone else's issues.

Race has nothing to do with understanding or not understanding Islam or Muslims. Don't blame the media for all the bad Muslim publicity. If Muslims weren't acting up and causing so much friction, the media wouldn't have anything to feed on.

I see quite a few things wrong with islam which is clearly evidenced by the words and acts of its practitioners (ie, muslims).
But, I'm always receptive to learning where I may be in error.
Please, provide some hint as to what you're talking about in the way of "ignorant ... understanding". Provide REASONABLE citations.
Personally, I don't hate muslims. I pray daily that they will open their hearts and minds and come to know the love and mercy of the one true God, and find salvation of the eternal soul thru His Son, Jesus.
I just don't care for muhammed invention "islam".

Why are you generalizing most whites are ignorant to islam? How many white people did you run into that you know they are ignorant of islam? It is like saying most muslim are terrorists.

I am ignorant of Islam/Muslim, but I do not hate. My ignorance is quite simply a lack of interest, just as they have no interest in my life style. Take offense if you choose. I also have no interest in Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Eskimos,nor the Orient. But, again there is not hate.

Because just about everything we ever hear about Islam or Muslims is bombibg , killing ,the Shiites killing Sunnis , the Sunnis killing Shiites . Market places being blown up killing women and children , police stations being blown up , recruiting offices being blown up.
We see Muslim women forced to wear tents over their bodies in the hot summer sun , etc. , etc. ,etc.
Start living like human beings , and you'll be thought of as fellow human beings .
