When I look back on my many jobs, I remember things that bosses asked me to do...like...

* Buy a mens magazine for him because he wanted to check out some famous celeb but would not be seen going into a adult book store

* Sent to the store to buy Midol for HER

* Sent to a gay owned carwash because he heard they did a great job but did NOT want to be seen there

So what have your past and present bosses asked you to do ?

Wow...your boss has...problems!!

Its never been that bad. God I hope you have job security!!

The worst is to serve wine at a function as a waiter.

I am a Marketing Coordinator. so I was miffed about missing a network opportunity.

Whew!!

Constant cigarette and Pepsi runs.

Lunch runs.

And let's not forget the month and a half I did not have a day off because every time I was off this same person would call in sick and I would have to come in because out of everyone else, the boss would call me! I ended up with like 20 hours of overtime though.

I was receptionist at a company a long time ago and if the boss didn't want to talk to someone she would have me lie to them. Every time they called I had to have a different story.

This same boss would make me call the applicants who didn't get the job (but she got to call the applicants who did get the job).

At another company I had to call the competition and get information from them (i.e. spy on them). I really hated that.

Now I'm my own boss, and I don't pass on the yucky jobs to anyone else because I know how it feels.

Wow!! Are you for real!?

I can't think of anything except for one my last bosses (a german neurotic woman) who pretended me to bring her coffee every morning..... I wasn't her waitress, hello!! But she was "too busy" to take 2 minutes to go upstairs and grab some from the coffeemaker so she felt she had the right to ask me to do it for her. One day I got really mad and told her this wasn't my duty, and she stopped.

This other boss I had sometimes asked me to go downstairs and buy him some potato chips at the store....... I wasn't too bothered by that as I also got to buy some candy for myself.

That's all I can think of for now...... not too outrageous.
