I don't read the bible anymore, but this story came back to me when I was reading Wayne Dyers "Power of Intention". Jesus intended to feed all of those people, he did not get bogged down with the thought that there were too many mouths to feed. Was he able to perform this miracle because he intended to make it happen? Could we feed all the hungry in the world if that was our intention or perform other miracles? Didn't Jesus say that we all would do these and greater things?

I'm not a Christian or much of a Bible reader - but that story comes up at my (Religious Science) church now and then. It's been explained to me that it represents how we should know that we live in an abundant Universe. Don't dwell on the lack - concentrate on what you do have - and know you are blessed to have it. Pretty much - just positive thinking.

Namaste!

Jesus had just learned that John the Baptist had been put to death by beheading. He tried to find solitude and time alone to pray, but masses of people were following him. The lesson here is many: Jesus' love for others was stronger than his desire to grieve his Friend and cousin. God provided for the masses all they needed. God love and giving nature, and that of his son is always forefront. Of course there is enough food in to feed all in the world, look at how much you throw away in a day, week and year. Multiply that times all the people in the civilized world and the answer is there. God does not cause starvation.

as lengthy as he's no longer the single actual serving the foodstuff he does no longer would desire to placed on a hair internet. As to getting a number of his hair in my foodstuff, if he have been around in the present day and did this miracle are you able to think of how lots that hair could opt for on Ebay whilst in comparison with basically a toasted cheese sandwich that supposedly appears like him?

you know, it used to be sooooo much fun to make fun of people when they said "tail" instead of "tale" but it's so prevalent these days that it's not really funny anymore.

I don't think we have the power to perform the same magnitude of miracles as Jesus did unless we perform them in His name and with the proper authority.

It's "Jesus, The Miracle Caterer"!

Something to do with the faithful being too lazy to make a friggin' sandwich for the day...

"I know! Let's let Jesus get it!"

It showed that God could feed everyone if he wanted to, but instead he enjoys watching people starve to death.
