Yes, I agree. Fortunately, what lies within me (the holy spirit)calms any stresses that I may feel. Everything past, present and future means very little in the big picture on this earth. I always remember who I am and remember that I'm going home one day. This pleases me so. Earth is just a stepping stone. Love to you all.

Yes. I seem to have a bit of trouble forgiving myself and letting go of past mistakes. My fears for the future pale compared with my hand-wringing over the past.

What's done is done, and if I've learned all I can from my mistakes, then it's self-centered to wallow in past-pity, right?

Thanks for this reminder.

Of course stress comes from past and furure things. We need to put the past behind us because if you have accepted Jesus then All is forgiven, if you asked and repented. Now we need to forgive ourselves. It can't be changed ,
but, we can try to do better and make admends. If you accept Jesus then we are suppose to not fear the future but be ready for His coming to get us out of here. But we are human, weak, and still in the flesh. Pray Pray and Pray spome more for strength for what's coming.; It can be tough but we have to learn to trust Jesus and believe it will all work out. He is the answer for ALL our doubts and worries. Good luck and PUT JESUS and all else will be O.K.

As a very anxious person, I would say it comes from the fear of the future. However, I have a lot of issues from the past, too, from this or prior life.

Peace!

Often times, yes. It is a challenge for me to live in each moment for what it is. The only way I have been able to do it is by letting go of some of my triggers of past hurts. It is so easy though to fall into worry.
