i dont speak to my neighbor, my dad told me he's crazy so what should i do? he's soo close to my yard, but he's in my neighbor's driveway, i'm talking to wait until my sister comes home around 4 o'clock, and get a shovel and dig up a grave for the cat and put it there, whats your advice?

Call Animal Control. Or Call the Highway Dept.

Take a garbage bag over to the cat, put it around it to pick it up and move it off of the road to the yard. See if it has a collar and a tag to determine if it belongs to anyone. Wash your hands and arms really well if you do this.
If it does have a collar and tag see if you can reach the owner by telephone, or, if they're a neighbor that you know, tell them or have your parents tell them.
If it doesn't have a collar or a tag, I would bury it, but that's me and I'm not suggesting you do that, just a personal thing.
The simple answer is that you should do whatever you would want someone else to do if it was your cat.

The odds of the cat dying of disease may be present. I wouldn't handle the body without gloves on. The best thing to do is call your local town animal control office or ASPCA and they will come remove the body.

I came across the same thing one night. They said I would have to put it into the trash by myself!! I called everyone!! ASPCA, Local Animal Hospitals, Vets, and NOBODY ...I mean NOBODY cares about an animal AFTER it's dead. You just need to find a friend who isn't squeamish about that sort of thing. I wouldn't be that friend. Hehe

Yes, call animal control or your local police dept, they should come and get it. If not then go with your plan to give it a decent burial once you have your sister there.

if it were my cat that someone found, i would hope that they would pick kitty up and burry it. not just leave it there to rot or have the garbage people pick it up or animal control.
get a trash bag, some gloves, and remove kitty and burry it in the back yard, or take to your local vet clinic to have it cremated. some will do that for you at no charge since its a stray.

Call animal control. You don't know for sure what killed that animal. If it's disease, even though you bury the animal, you could be bringing it home to your own pets.
