Just say, "at least you aren't as much of a loser as me! I mean look at me, I post on Yahoo Answers all the time! And my name is klunk! What kind of stupid name is that! Be glad you aren't me."

I don't believe that there is anyone who is a total failure! I believe that each and everyone of us has something that we are really good at doing. I would also say that I loved them , that they are very special to me and I am here when ever they need me to talk to, a shoulder to cry on or if they need me to just listen to them.

First tell them they arenot a total failure, there is a total failure and that is when you die and you are not saved or Born AGain, then you go to hell with the old devil himself, then you can say you were a total failure because the Bibles says it is appointed unto a man once to die, and after this the judgement, Hebrews 9:27, But thank God that he sent his Son Jesus Christ to die on a Cross for us, to be our atonement for sin, His precious Blood was shed there on the Cross at Calvery paying our sin debt and opening the door to salvation to all who will call upon his name. Romans 10:13, Jesus said in John 3:3 that you must be Born Again spiritually to enter into Heaven, you can do that right now, if a person is willing to confess their sins to Christ and willing to admit they need a Saviour they can be born again, just saying this prayer believing by faith in Jesus Christ can save a soul from Hell, just say Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. If you're serious...
Tell them that every day is another chance to start over. They may have screwed things up in the past, but that doesn't mean they have to in the future. It just takes effort, but a person can turn things around.
