Will a PS3 hook up to a normal Cathode ray tube tv by scart socket?

Absolutely yes, my PS3 is hooked to my TV through SCART adapter. I took tha cable, that came with PS3, pluged it into SCART adapter. Than I simply plugged SCART into my TV.

Yes it can be connected via scart, though ps3 comes standard with rgb wiring and a scart connecter like the ps2 did.

Yes, all AV equipment can be attached via SCART. It may require an adaptor, but it can be done.

it has the same connection as the PS2 so, if you had a PS2 connected with Scart, give it a go

it uses the red yelloe white system so i could be done
