We are to display a mild spirit, so why are you yelling at everyone?
But to agree with you, we are to gain accurate knowledge, which means that there must be inaccurate knowledge as the Bible clearly states and encourages honest hearted ones to seek out the accurate understanding.Rom.10:2,3, Philippians 1:9,Colossians 1:9 1Tim.2:3-6
2Tim.3:7 clearly warns that there would be those that are always learning but never come to an accurate knowledge of truth, after in the first 5 verses of that same chapter warning about the critical times that we would see in the last days of this system of things.
As a worldwide organization, Jehovah's Witnesses have a brotherhood that transcends racial, social, and tribal bias.Jesus said his followers would be known by the love they have among themselves.John 13:34,35
So I agree that we have the accurate knowledge and the works to back it up, that of preaching the good news worldwide Matt.28:19,20.
Our love for our neighbor, and our King Jesus and our God Jehovah motivates us to obey that command. Sorry if that has at times offended those of you that have commented on our being at your door.
We are there out of love for all people, and to fulfill our given assignment. It is not an easy work to do. But it is the most rewarding.Helping some one learn about our real basis for hope is very satisfying.

Jehovah's Witness's are the most well read when it concerns the Bible.
We read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation every year.
Jehovah does not mean 'lord' it means " I shall Become what I shall Become" meaning that what he purposes to do, shall be done.
Elohim means "Lord"
The reason the Israelites sacrificed animals, Meant that they understood, that because of Adam and Eve's disobedience, they were in a situation that caused them to recognize that Adam and Eve, had lost them perfect human bodies, and the ability to live in the Paradise garden, that had been their parents home. They had lost the ability to live forever in the Paradise, that had been what Adam, Could, have passed on to all their children had they not chosen to disobey Jehovah.
They had that is why: we age, have pains and illness, and because many of Adam and Eve's children are in "darkness" spiritually, concerning their relationship w/ Jehovah, Becoming a witness, is not a hurried process. It means studying the Bible, and getting a Basic understanding of Jehovah's word. Then IF one decides that they would like to be a 'slave' of Jehovah, living their life according to the principles of what Jehovah wants us to do with our life. Then after being tested according to knowledge ---John 17: 3 This means everlasting life, their taking IN Knowledge of YOU, the Only True God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.
So, for man to regain everlasting life, a sacrifice had to happen, so that man could regain what their parents had lost,Adam and Eve.
The problem: It couldn't be a man/woman/child of mankind, remember we are born in a 'sinful state' even though we are 'wonderfully made'.
Where could a sacrifice come from, what was needed was a perfect man, [Adam and Eve had been perfect]
Jehovah knew that it would have to be one of his "spirit sons"
Genesis 6:2, who was the one son, that could give his life willingly, and be able to be born a perfect 'man'? Only his first-born, the one he had personally created, could measure up to the task, Colossians 1:15: Proverbs 8:22-31, 35.
Therefore as Jehovah's Witnesses, we go 'from door to door' is because Jesus' disciples' did Acts 5:27-31
We go and we hand out phamplets that announce 'God's Kingdom', that many of us did and continue to pray for, yet have no understanding of what 'God's Kingdom' means, such as: Where it's located? Who is the King? Do others share in ruling with the King? If so how many? What shows we are living in the last days? And most importantly of all: "What will God's Kingdom do for mankind in the future?

Accurately? You're right, but it's religion, every religion differs. I thought about this last night about my friend being a Jehovah's witness, he was much more disciplined and follow the word of God better.

You are a Jehovah's Witnesses,
I agree with you that you practice spirituallity accurately, but you are not any of the three major religions Judaism, Christianity, and Islam so you are just like a nice tolerant atheist for G-d.

I find it unusual to use a word like "accurately" when speaking of spiritual practice. Beware of thinking that contact with God is somehow according to a schedule or a formula. What you may be in contact with is something other than God - either your own ego, or worse.
Tread carefully when pride introduces itself into your spiritual life.

Considering that "spirituality" is an exercise in futility, I'd tend to disagree. Even if I were to consider "spirituality" as a good thing, Jehovah's Witnesses would not rank in the upper 10 for being spiritual.

Just about everyone... Well maybe not the Mormons but they are wrong in a whole differnt perversion. You can join any church you wish.. They are not THE true Church. The one true Church are those that have been born of Christ.. Born again.. They come in all sorts of Baptist, Catholics, even those that claim no church affiliation. Anyone who can look at a time when John 1:12 pertained to them.. Have you ever had that experience. Have you received Him? Are you His child by faith alone? IHS Jim

I can disagree. JW's come on your property without being invited, take up valuable time for their own purposes, and never leave a thin dime when they scat.
Spirituality is not coersive, is not selfish, is kind and without thought for it's own desires. (in other word's, spirituality seeks the good of others and using the time of others for our own desires is out of line)
