I have heard many things about Atheist now how is chriastianity?? please be nice it is my religion!!!!!

All facets of "christianity" are stolen from earlier pagan religions, including the idea of a "savior".
Christianity is a simplistic religion espousing the idea of a punitive father figure designed to promote good behavior on the idea that if you are 'bad', you will spend eternity in torment and if you are 'good, i.e. say you are sorry for your bad behavior and that you accept Jesus as your savior, then you will be rewarded with 'heaven'.
Christianity is childish in its tenets, but not as childish as some other religions, all of which I believe we are meant to outgrow in favor of a more intelligent, open-minded view of the universe and our place in it.
I can understand it when you need religion to comfort you and use it to deal with life. I don't understand it when you use it as a weapon to impose your beliefs and pass judgment on other people.
I hope you don't do that.
Christianity also lends itself to extreme misinterpretation by most of its practitioners. But of course you can say this about most religions.
Hopefully you will be outgrowing it soon and moving on to a kinder view of the world and your fellow souls.

It would be better if:
1. Most Christians lived as we are supposed to
2. Many Christians accepted our scientific origins of life
3. Could distinguish the difference between writings in the Bible (literal vs. non-literal)
4. Did not push belief on others

I feel great about God in general. I feel if there were nothing named Christianity and if people followed God and not religion people wouldn't do things that do not bring God any glory in the name of Christianity. If it was up to me i wouldn't be called Christian I would be called God Follower. Just the way i feel I am not religious never have been never will be. I just follow God.

Christianity in it's purest form is beautiful. Christianity is not a religion as it was started by Christ and he didn't care for the "religious" people. If all Christians truly followed Christ's teachings and commandments, Christianity wouldn't get such a bad rap. Controlling, judgmental, hypocritical people claiming to be Christians really give Christianity a bad name.

I try to always be nice. I don't have a problem with Christianity for you. My problem with Christianity is that most christians seem to think that they can through the proverbial stone at anyone who doesn't believe the say way they do.
I my self am wiccan and my husband is christian and we seem to make it work we have even been able to raise our children and they are happy and health.
I guess what I am trying to say is if the christian didn't treat us the way that they do then we wouldn't be mean to them.

Hate is a strong word and I don't think I hate many things at all. But I do hate Christianity. It is a plague on mankind. Its only saving grace is that it is not alone in its ignorant, medieval, barbaric nonsense and is joined by Islam and Judaism which I despise equally.

Christianity is in its foundation a very peaceful and tolerant religion. But many are practising it as being an agressive and intolerant religion - the fundementalists. I´m not so fond of fundementalists.

I think it is essentially false, and that it was created to justify a patriarchal, hierarchical system. There are some verses in the Bible that I find very useful, but it's a minority.

I've heard Christians like it.
Sky gods are nice. Good to get out in the sun.
Jesus on the cross is kinda gruesome, but to each his own.

I`m not religous. From what I have seen in the news religion is a bad idea and I dont mean to offend anyone but thats my opinion.
