Won't happen bro. What you need is emersion in the language to help you start thinking in Spanish. Once you think in Spanish you will speak it effortlessly.
By "learning words" in one week you can toss a few in from time to time and make a few sentences.

No es posible.To learn some fast get a wordpicture book.Even if you pronounce it right you will not understand the answer.
I started studying Spanish 45 years ago that is 45 times 52= number of weeks.I supose I know basic Spanish.

The best program out there to learn any language is Rosetta Stone; but I must warn you that it is very expensive...unless you know of other ways of getting it on line...that part is up to you. It's an incredible program, its actually even used by the US government to teach foreign languages to its agencies i.e. FBI, CIA, etc...

get a book that translates english to spanish and practice words you would use in a conversation
