Wait...your mother kicked you out the house, yet they want you to come out to California with them?

Why didn't you just give up your cell phone? If your mother pays for it she has the right to take it away. If you have such a huge problem with that get a job and get your own phone. I do think it's terrible she kicked you out of your house. The best thing would probably be to move to Cali with your family, the crime rate out there should be the least of your worries because you don't even have a place to stay right now. You could always go and apologize to your mother and tell her you'll follow her rules, although she seems like she may be a little unstable so not sure that will work. If that would work do that. You may have to follow her rules for the next two years until your 18 but you'll be able to stay at the same school and stay with your friends and not have to move to cali.

Your 16 you a minor therefore she can not legally kick you out. Furthermore she threatened you with a knife. You should call the police and the people you are with should not keep you at their home they should call CPS. If your mom is a big of a nut job as your making her out to be she can report you as a run away and this family can get in trouble for having you there. If you have family in california that is more stable then your mother I suggest you go to them. Crime is everywhere some places its just made more obvious.

If this is a joke get a damn life, wake up for school and learn to spell.

It seems as though your mother has a lot of growing up to do, and maybe she needs a little assistance with parenting skills. I feel that you both should go to counseling and try to rectify the problem. Also, I don't feel that you should have to pack and move just because your mom is having a tantrum. Is her life very stressful right now? Is she having a hard time with a man? How is her financial situation? Try talking to her and letting her know your feelings about the way that she has been treating you. Let her know that you do not want to move because you life is where you are right now. Let her know that you would like to live with her ex-husband. Also, try not to argue with her because that will only make matters worse. Good luck to you both.

I think your mother was wrong in every way. She didn't have the right to insult you girlfriend. Everyone makes the mistake of doing something wrong and I think that just because you overslept for school ONE night doesn't mean she has to go crazy. Have someone help you figure out the solution to this problem. If your mother doesn't realize her mistake pretend as she was never there and you'll most likely, have to start all over again to have a life.

Were you on the phone all night with your girlfriend? Is this why you over slept? I can see why she would be upset. She really had no right to call your girlfriend names but you had no right to call you mother names. You both need to take a deep breath chill out and talk about what is going on.

I think the best thing for you to do if your Mom will not let you come back home is to move to California unless you can move in withyour stepdad. But you really need to talk to your mom.

Get a job and start fending for yourself. Yep life sucks but you gotta do something. Prove to your mother you are a responsible young adult that doesn't need her. So what are you doing get out there and look for a job! Good Luck!
