God has created, is running, and will destroy the Universe. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

As a father who is adopting a special needs child, (TCS) facial bone deformity, I think it must depend on the person. Many on here think that what they see as a special needs, or a handicap is the end of the world. but in many cases it can be a great way for the person to open the door to others hearts. God has a plan for everyone. He makes each of us special, and in return, we are to help all others in a way that only we can. There is something special in each of us. If your person can forget for the moment what ever their condition is, they will find what God has in store for them

If you are serious, volunteer at a hospital, therapy organization or Respite.
If you are being sarcastic then shame on you - my daughter is special needs and that kind of sick humor will only get you a damn good wack in the balls.
However, if you are serious, good luck, there is no greater heartwarming feeling than making a down syndrome child giggle with delight or paraplegic boy light up with life on a tire swing!
Our church does Respite night one saturday a month. They are always needing volunteers and is such a wonderful time.
If your church doesn't offer this, bring it to their attention and see if you get something like that going.
You know, the sick humor below me on special needs is just - well, can't believe i share air with you assh0les!

The body is WHAT you are IN, not WHO you are...... Special needs people are just in a different version of being human.
The part of them that is eternal is as 100% perfect as any of us are... God doesn't make junk. :D
The simplest way to remind people God loves them is to demonstrate being loving......

You can start out by volunteering at group homes, nursing homes, the Special Olympics, or Goodwill. Good luck!

I work with mentally, emotionally, & physically handicapped adults. Believe me, a little religion in their hands is a dangerous thing. I've seen physical fights break out just because someone goes to the "wrong" church. It's not fun playing referee to their religious battles. Funny thing is that they all admire my pentacle! LOL!

Well, Arkansas is pretty much full of Special Needs people. you should move there.
Oh, and tell them God is the reason for their "special" needs.
