A Person takes a fundamentalist Muslim and submits them to torture. Person does what is necessary to break the Muslim's will. They then convince them that Jesus and Christianity is the truth. The former Muslim now truly, really truly, believes in Jesus. There is no doubt in anyone's mind about that.
So a soul is saved, albeit in an unconventional way. Let's say you repeat the process hundreds of times. Now perhaps God may have a problem with that person's actions, but the net result is a saving of let's say 1000 souls at the expense of one.
Would that be acceptable? Why or why not? Shouldn't 1000 souls saved make up for the one lost?

"you come to God of your own free will.
that's the only way."
So you are saying no one can ever convince a person to become a Christian? You are saying those former Muslims wouldn't be allowed in Heaven? The Bible says otherwise!!!!

"If the person is capable of responding to the Gospel, cut out the torture, and just preach the Gospel!"
And what if the torture is the only way they will respond? Clearly there are those out there who will not convert unless they are tortured. You seem to be saying that torturing someone has no effect - this is extremely unlikely - I know of cults where people are 'brainwashed/tortured" and the people truly believe in the cult. The same outcome would happen in my example, but instead of believing in some useless cult, they would be Saved!

"I believe in practicing some techniques like that to get information from terrorist's groups to save thousands of innocent lives"
Wait a minute, you think torture is ok to save 1000 temporary lives, but not ok to save 1000 eternal souls!? That's madness!

This is exactly what the inquisition did. (but mainly with the Jews)
Since that had papal blessing, and the pope is infallible (allegedly) then Christians (at least Catholics) must be O.K. with this.

Wow! The Inquisitions Revisited.
No one can respond to the Gospel in a positive manner without the Spirit of God involved. It's against human nature. The Bible explains that in detail.
If the person is capable of responding to the Gospel, cut out the torture, and just preach the Gospel!

forcing someone with torture will not get them to truly believe they would probably HaTE christianity EVEN MORE for what they did to him......... I believe in practicing some techniques like that to get information from terrorist's groups to save thousands of innocent lives.. But when it comes to saving a soul ITS UP TO that person.... not anybody else can force you but they can advise you and help all they want

This is the most stupid thing I have ever read. Do you actually believe that the Muslim became Christian? You are stupid if you believed that. What happened to the Muslim was that he hated everything about Christianity because he is not as stupid as you. He knows that the reason how he got tortured was not because he was a Muslim but because the torturer was Christian.

Only God can save. I plant the seeds, another Christian waters it, but it is God who brings the harvest. Oh, and it is Muslims who are indeed at this moment torturing Christians around the world because they will not deny Christ and bow down to the muslims false god.

No its not acceptable but is it really so different from christians condemning non-christians to burn in hell for eternity? Of course, both methods tend to be "the christian way" based on the majority of the responses I receive on here.

No, there is no need to torture someone in order for them to convert to any religion. God wants you to come to him on your own free will!!!
