As souls we all come into incarnation over and over again until we all reach a stage of relative perfection and have become Masters of Wisdom ,but this takes many eons to achieve and we all have a long string of incarnations behind us all and we can tap into this divine energy to the service to humanity and this I can tell you that it is a very rewarding experience to serve ones fellow man as this is the nature of the soul as it comes into incarnation over the many eons of time. The bulk of humanity have a very long ways to go before reaching this stage of relative perfectionbut we are all on our way in becoming divine beings some day.

What, if this is the second life you are having?
The reverend Soleil said it well ``What would be the point, if I have no memory of the former life?'' He actually mirrored my thoughts. The next life could be even more pathetic than what we have now...then again search begins for a next life...hoping at least the next would be perfect.
A man can go on & on in a constant search of perfect and more perfect life. But whats the use when he would have no memory of the past life to compare it with.
Why do people (who believe in reincarnation) think about the life they might have in the next birth and not consider what they have now and try to make best out of it.
As for your question the answer is NO. Thx.
The life is beautiful only as long as the youth remains (even that too is not guaranteed despite of youth), old age is troubled with deseases and there is no one who can claim he/she had a perfect life.

Hummmmm my life is pretty great, but as all I have fears. What if I came back and had to die at the hands of a child killer or I was born into a poor country and had to suffer, na just do not want to take that chance, but then again I could come back rich, with a huge loving family, now that would be good.....

Yeah, I suppose I probably would. Do we get to carry any lessons from the previous life? I'd hate to make all the same mistakes all over again... ah well. Life sucks, and it is pain, but it's all there is, that I know of anyway, so I'd have to say yes.

Since the premise of you question is that there would be no link between this life and the next - that they would be totally independent, I would have to say I'm ambivalent.

i wish reincarnation was true. one life is not enough to get it right....there is too much to learn...i wish i would take the lessons i've learned in this one and take them to the next one....

I would love to be able to go back and relive my life if I could keep from making the same dumb mistakes all over. Otherwise, no thanks! Once is enough.
