This website saved my butt when choosing colors :)
I suggest wearing dark jewel tones. They're pretty, don't stain, and make your teeth look white.
Cold colors tend to look better than warm... But dark red looks nice.
Don't choose clear or white unless you don't drink coffee, tea, juice, or eat curry or mustard.
Black isn't exactly the best choice for people with short teeth. If you have longer teeth, that would be a nice color. If you have short teeth, black will make it look like you have none from far away :O

I had braces 10 years ago, so materials may have changed, but I would recommend avoiding light colors like white and silver if you drink coffee or dark sodas. The dark drinks will stain them to a bronze color no matter how well you brush!

HELLO ADEL,
The best investmernt you can do for your braces is to buy and use a WATERPIK machine. This will keep yor braces clean and gums healthy forever.
As far as the color choose something that matches your hair and/or eyes.
