The Bible teaches that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and the wages of sin is death. (Romans 3:23; 6:23) God has given us the gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ and therefore granted us salvation. (Romans 6:23). This gift of Salvation comes by grace through faith. (Ephesians 2:8) There is nothing we can do to earn Salvation we can only accept his mercy and be born again and renewed by the Holy Spirit. (Titus 3:3-6; John 3:5)
How does a person accept God's Gift?
Believe- You believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and he was raised from the dead (John 3:16; Romans 10:9)
Repent- You seek forgiveness and turn away from sin. (Acts 2:38, 3:19)
Confess- You confess Jesus Christ as Lord. (Romans 10:9-13; Matthew 10:32)
Baptism- You get baptized ("immersed") into Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the receiving of the Holy Spirit. (Mark 16:16; John 3:5; Acts 2:38, 22:16; Galatians 3:26-29; 1 Peter 3:21)

I completely agree with JC is the Man. He gave scripture that backed up everything you need to do. Praying and accepting Jesus is the first step but you must follow through with baptism and faithful living as you follow the commands of Christ.

God bless you as you start this walk and whatever happens, don't let yourself get too discouraged even though it will be easy to do at times. The devil will do all he can to pull you away from God and His love and promise of salvation to the faithful. Remember that God is always there for you to help you through the rough times. Study the Word and find a church close to you and compare what they teach with the scriptures. If they aren't following them, move to another one until you find one that does. If you have any questions, email me.

Repent, turn from your sins, Believe ( cling, adhere, depend, rely) on Jesus as your Lord & Savior. Mark 1: 15, Acts 2: 38
Acknowledge that you are a sinner, Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive and cleanse you from all your sins.
Ask him to come into your heart and make him your Lord.
Romans 10: 9, 10

Our believing is so crucial and the way to really take this Lord that you believe into is to receive Him by calling upon His name.
They that call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
The Lord is rich to those who call upon His name.
Our calling and confessing that He is the Son of God, that through Him men and women can be redeemed back to God and receive the Life of God to be children of God is how we receive God into us.
He comes into our spirits as a starting point. It is from our regenerated spirit that God is able to work to transform all of our inner being. Conforming us bit by bit to the image of this Christ we received.
Today we can be the many sons of God, those loving Him, enjoying His rich life not just in an eternal way but in a daily way to overcome sin, satan, the flesh, the self and everything negative. Truly our believing and receiving of Christ is the best beginning.
In Christ

It looks like you've said it. I would make sure that I tell God about it ( confess that Jesus is Lord ) and trust Him in what He said. Jesus said:
Matthew 6:33
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
It sounds like you know what that is, believing in the Lord Jesus is stating that you've found the kingdom. You are then a habitation of the Holy Spirit and are counted s one of God's people. Do not be surprised if you are approached by those who are also His people, and knowledge will be increased.
So I am saying, that's it! Now be confident about it. Remember it often and say to God, " I trust you."
Listening to those who are preachers of the Gospel who are good at it, who are also teachers in the word, and you will grow spiritually. It all hinges on you trusting God as continually as possible.

Depends on which flavor of Christianity you want to join. For some, the outer confession of what you believe is enough. For some, it must be followed by baptism, either immersion or sprinkling. For some, after you are saved, you are baptized to become a member of the church.

Read in the book of John what Nicodemus asked Jesus what he needed to do to be born again and then be obedient to what is written.
Shalom and may you be blessed by the Almighty God and Father in your new life in Christ, may the Holy Spirit fill you with His power to know the heights and depths of the Love and Mercy of Yeshua HaMashiach. may you become a true believer of the only Way the only Truth and the only Life which is in Him, Lord of Lords and King of Kings. believe and do something----the bible tells us what we must do if we beleive. Salvation is not something we can choose to ignore it is something we must cooperate with. Be baptised for the forgiveness of sins, repent, sin no more, be holy as your heavenly father is, forgive others so you can be forgiven, obey the 10 commandments, obey the church leaders , do penance, beleiving is a verb.

Pray. Tell God what you just told us (which He already knows but it's nice to make it formal). Ask Him into your heart and do your best to follow His teachings. I'd also advise you to find a group of like minded believers, although this isn't absolutely necessary.
You're pretty much there. Congratulations and may God bless you on your walk with Him.

You have to come to an accurate understanding of who Jesus realy is. He was 100% man and is 100% God.
