actually, the AF,no. all their slots for the entire year have already been filled. same with Navy. Army takes the largest number of GED holders.
NOW if the person with the GED also has 15 college credits, they can get in no problem, assuming they otherwise qualify.

The Air Force can process you with a GED, however there are a few stipulations. Number one, you need to score at least a 65 on the ASVAB to even to be eligible. Number two, there is no guarantee you will get a slot. You can be in the DEP for up to a year waiting to obtain a GED slot. Less than 100 people a year join with GED's. We recruited over 27,000 last year so its tough, but possible. Also as stated above if the person has 15 or more college credits they are considered a traditional HS Grad

All branches of the military take people that have their GEDs. To get into the Air Force and Navy you really need at least 15 college credits or you don't have that great of a chance.
So yes, they will take you, but you really need 15 college credits. And you need to score good on the ASVAB.

Yes but you have to score higher on the ASVAB test. I'm not sure what score you need for the air force but for example in the army you have to score at least a 30 with a hs diploma or at least a 50 with a ged.

You most certainly can. But do yourself a favor. Make sure you get everything in writing concerning training and job selection. The military loves to tell you that they'll train you for this job but when you're in they switch it up.
Definitely join, it's well worth but again get as much as you can in writing for your own benefit.

Yes, a GED is the same as a high school diploma. However any branch of the military will give you a separate test before they accept you.

Yes, but they select a very small number of GED applicants in the Air Force (the Navy too).
