a gay couple, atheist couple or pagan couple? and why?

(assuming those were the only choices and they were all financially stable and in love with each other and treated each other respectfully)

Children are already raised in all three situations. I'd just be glad someone decided to give birth to a child, instead of getting an abortion, and in an incredibly selfless and loving act gave the child up for adoption. I'd applaud any of the three couples for welcoming that child with open arms and loving hearts.

If I HAD to choose one or the other... gosh I don't know! I don't have a problem with my baby being raised by any of them.

If I HAD to choose based only on thse qualifications, I'd go eeny meen miney mo....

And if the adoption worker gave me an absurd look, I'd go with the gay couple. See, with the other two, I'd have no guarantee that my child would be raised in a household that teaches tolerance and acceptance. That's pretty much a given with the gay couple. I mean, even if it's not taught directly, my child would have a slim chance of growing up a bigot, and that to me is more important than spirituality. They can choose that themselves.

but no Riegan, it really doesn't matter. It depends on the couple who i thought would provide the best home, and if they were all pretty much equal in that regard, and it came down to that, well, it would be the one I felt the most right about. ^_^

(I would go through LDS adoption services for real though.)

it doesnt matter. i want a baby adopted to a good home. pagan, atheist, and gay are all equal. the gay one might be the most protective, the atheist one might be the most down to earth, and the pagan one might be the most understanding. (this is based on the usual stereotype, im not trying to offend anyone). i'm a pagan, and i wouldnt care if i had to be adpoted by any of them. a christian is a different story though (lol)

Whichever couple would provide the most love and care for the child and whichever one allows the child to believe or not believe what it chooses later in life.

But the love thing is the more important of the two.

I would want the baby to be adopted by the couple which would give it all the things a baby needs -- a home, clothes, food, and love.

As a Christian i'm fairly particular being professional-life suits in with the Christian time desk, yet i choose professional-life for the youngster's sake. With that mentioned - as a Christian I do have self assurance that appearing out homosexually is a sin, yet I even have self assurance that swearing, drunkenness, and premarital intercourse are sins (besides as many extra). i understand people who do those issues (as i even have taken section in some) and ought to precise boost a newborn in a loving, financially maintain surroundings.

Religion, sexual preference, financial status, and loving/respecting each other is actually not enough to determine whether or not these people will be good parents.

btw, I'm not Christian.

Any of these would be fine in my book. Though i'm not exactly Christian. I suppose i should be disqualified from answering. You should add "Muslim" to the group.

You stipulated the most important considerations -- love and respect.
