Here are some quick verses to help encourage you and sometimes God just desires patience.
Romans 8:24-28.
Romans 15:4
Luke 18:1-8
James 5:11
2 Peter 3:9
As far as dealing with problems, check out Job, The first couple of chapters and the last one is a bit easier of a read. Also remember that Jesus although sinless had His problems, but true freedom from problems will come in Heaven.

What are you doing while you wait? If God did nothing but wait for us to ask Him for things we would be in deep trouble. I used to ask the same question you have asked. leave it get your mind on something else. God can't do anything as long as you have your hands in it. when we are at our weakest He can do His greatest works in our lives!!! Why? because we do not get in His way. Sometimes we have to just be still. Patients is a gift of the spirit pray for some I had to I am not being smart sometimes we need extra help with things like that and all we have to do is ask. How is your faith in this situation?? Let Him handle it He doesn't make mistakes like we do. I heard one time God has three answers for us 1. Granted 2. Not now later. 3. I have a better plan. Listen to the spirit and find his answer maybe in the Bible your looking for another answer in. God Bless

Because there are some things we may ask for that are not right for us, or it is not the time for it to take place. God answers all prayers, it is just that God doesn't always give us the answers we wanted. He is our Father, and he fathers us like a human parent. If your ask your parent for something, and say it was a motorcycle, and you wanted it really bad, but you were on 16 and not much experience, your parents are not going to want you to have that, even though YOU think you can handle it. That is not to say one day you will not have one, but for the time being, you are not experienced enough to ride one. Just an example. When we say that God doesn't answer our prayers, many times it's because He isn't answering with the answer we wanted. Sometimes we pray for our family member that is ill to not die. If they die, we figure God didn't answer our prayer. Maybe God needed them with him more than they were needed here on earth. When we ask for prayers to be answered, we need to ask that it be God's will, as He knows what is best for us in the long run. God is long suffering, means he has much patience. We need to learn to patiences as well.

Oftentimes, the trouble is actually with us...we are not familiar with God's will, we ask for the wrong things, we expect what we should not, etc.
Sometimes we do have to wait. Things are not always automatically done.
Many or I should say most of our problems come when we are not or have not listened to the word God has given to us.
A good verse is Proverbs 3:5 and 6.
He will indeed direct our path,(choices) if we would just acknowledge Him in everything. By acknowledge, it means obeying, but to obey, we must know His will...and it is spelled out for us in the Bible.
In James, we find a verse that speaks of "temptations" or being tried by difficulties.(James 1:2)
God inspired James to write "when", not "if".
So we see that it is inevitable, but James goes on to explain the good parts of it all.

Once you ask for God to "give you an answer" keep yourself open & listen to everything. It could be a song. A book. Conversations with God can happen daily. He WILL work through you and help you. As for a particular verse in the bible, it depends on your need. HE HAS SPOKEN TO ME & it was SCARY until I realized I invited him so when you do.... MAKE SURE YOU'RE READY! Good Luck.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
James 1:2,3,4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; [1] 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Well, I read the Quran, and we have to wait for it, obviously. You think life is all 1 2 3 4, or a b c.
