I have a 1999 Ford expedition with the factory speakers and radio in it. If I get a new JVC stero system will it soud better and have more bass with the factory speakers?

If you keep the speakers, you'll keep the sound. The JVC deck may have more options for you to tailor the sound to your liking, though.

Don't worry about blowing the speakers with the after-market deck; most current vehicles' stock speakers can handle an after-market head unit's power without any trouble.

Factory speakers aren't that bad, if you want more bass, get an amp and sub. Once that's installed turn the treble to the speakers all the wa up, and send all the bass to the sub.

This way you'll get very loud but clear sound.

if you get a better head unit and put more power to the stock speakers, you risk blowing the speakers, especially with bass. It would be best to replace both the head unit and the speakers. Compare what the new head unit puts out
(ex. 45w x 4). And get speakers that can handle that power rating at RMS, that is your best bet

Won't sound much different I suspect. The built in radio is matched to your speakers to get the best out of them. It is also possible your JVC will not sound as good using the existing speakers.

it won't sound better if you turn the bass all the way up...the only thing you will hear is distortion that is if you turn the bass on your HU all the way up
