I'm curious, does general fiction fall into the realm of lies in the strict fundimental Christian world?
On the technicality that lies are the work of Satan, would that therefore class fiction as Satanic?

realchurch: this isn't wit, it's curious observation. ie: I'm not trying to be funny, I'm questioning the actions I see before me.

As a general rule, for fundies, anything that doesn't support, agree with, and/or is approved by the church and/or the Bible, is the work of Satan. This includes many fiction writings and films as well as many forms of non fiction including many forms of science, philosophy, history, politics, etcetera.

Fundies think horror stories and horror films are sinful. So I read my Stephen King anyway.

No it doesn't.......
Some of it borders on pretty bad (i.e. Harry Potter)....which I believe is demonic in nature.
But other than the obvious.......no....fiction is ok.
